Grow your money
Do you live for today or for tomorrow? A plan will help you do both.
In our last session we looked at how investment markets work and how, by bringing different types of investments together, we can manage risk.
We now move on to look at how to arrange your money to give you the life you want. We'll show you how to work out how much money you'll need and how, by creating a financial plan, you can plot your route to financial security .
By considering the three pillars that sit at the heart of an investment plan we'll start to make sense of the different types of investment. We'll discuss in straightforward terms the impact of tax on returns and the advantages of using the tax breaks the Government gives us. We'll look at how pensions work, at recent changes and why they are a great starting place; why ISAs are worth considering and why, while tax is an important factor, choosing the right investment should be your starting point.
We'll finish with a section looking at the issues behind ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing, led by our expert in this area, Radostina Dencheva.
By the end of the session you'll have a clearer understanding of what's needed to set you on the road to the the life you want.
